NXT-SHIFT Media was founded in 2024 when James Karr and Domenick DiCicco relocated to the Greater Philadelphia area. Both rooted in hockey—James through media and operations, and Domenick through playing and coaching—the two brought their shared vision of combining strategic design with real-world sports experience to life. What began as a media studio with strong ties to the ice quickly evolved into a creative partner for brands across industries.​
